When I tolled story of Yehuda Ha'macabi, as with most children listening to a story, this is a "quiet" time. The children sit and listen with such wonderment as their teachers retell the the story each day, they are just sponging up all the information.

I walk through the classrooms and see the children hard at work, it gives me such joy  to watch them. seeing all these small children working so hard on their chanukah masterpieces just brings a smile to your face, I love watching their determination as they concentrate on their work.

each class presented a special story, song or dace in our very own "teepee". we discussed again the importance of thanking Hashem, our parents and teachers every day for all that we have.

On Wednesday, the children prepared different foods to share for the "Pow wow". As we know , sharing is a big mitzvah , the children made Native American cranberry sauce, pumpkin-bread, home made yams an marshmallows, hot cornbread and yummy salad etc....ll. the children had a true hands on science experience by making their very own butter,
this week's parsha is Parshat Vayigash. I learned from this Parsha that Yosef treated others with kindness. Yosef knew that everything that happened to him Hashem intended it, Yosef did not blame his brothers and he loved them very much , from this our children learn an everlasting lesson that they can practice each and every day.
